About Mattheessen’s

In 1993, the Mattheessen’s moved to Key West and opened a coffee kiosk named after their daughter, “Kayla’s Cafe.” Not long after they expanded to open a fudge and cookie store. With the success of Mattheessen’s Candy Kitchen, they moved once again and now have two very successful, established stores on the world famous “Duval Street in Key West.”

Mattheessen’s serves only the freshest products using quality ingredients, we believe in repeat business. Once you bite into one of their half-pound cookies, sample their marble slab fudge, try their refreshingly sweet chocolate dipped key lime pie, or have a lick of their homemade ice cream, you’ll be coming back for more. Everything sold in the store is made in the store. We make all of our sweet goodies fresh so we are always baking and providing you with the freshest product possible.

When you come to Mattheessen’s you will receive wonderful customer service and freshly made sweets that will have you coming back for more for decades to come. Stop by TODAY at one of our three charming locations in Key West, and our fabulous new Nashville location.
